The goods and services shown below are those we can provide to our customers. You may choose only the items you desire. However, any funeral arrangements you select will include a charge for our basic services and overhead. If legal or other requirements mean you must buy any items you did not specifically ask for, we will explain the reason in writing on the statement we provide describing the funeral goods and services you selected
A Traditional Funeral consists of the items below (optional - hairdresser and limousine), Merchandise, Cash Advances, Casket, Outer Burial Container and/or Cremation Fee and Urn
Our basic service charge includes, but is not limited to, staff to respond to initial request for service; arrangement conference with family or responsible party; preparation and filing of necessary certificates and permits, shelter of remains; placement of obituary notices; planning of funeral arrangements; and coordination of service with cemetery, crematory, vault companies and others as required. Also included in this charge are overhead expenses relative to our facility such as insurance, maintenance and utility expenses, secretarial and administrative costs and equipment and inventory expenses. This fee for our basic services and overhead will be added to the total cost of the funeral arrangements you select. (This fee is already included in our charges for direct cremations, immediate burials and forwarding or receiving remains.)
Except in certain special cases, embalming is not required by law. Embalming may be necessary, however, if you select certain funeral arrangements, such as a funeral with viewing. If you do not want embalming, you usually have the right to choose an arrangement that does not require you to pay for it, such as direct cremation or immediate burial. If final disposition of a dead human body has not occurred within 48 hours of the time of death, Ohio law requires the body be embalmed or refrigerated at 40 degrees or less. Our funeral home requires embalming for: viewing and/or dressing of decedent.
Our services include set-up of visitation area, display of floral arrangements, supervision of and attendance during the visitation. (Four hours of visitation)

In most areas of the country, no state or local law requires you buy a container to surround the casket in the grave. However, many cemeteries require that you have such a container so that the grave will not sink in. Either a grave liner or a burial vault will satisfy these requirements.
Our charge for a direct cremation (without ceremony) includes: basic services of funeral director and staff; proportionate share overhead costs, local removal of remains; transportation to crematory; up to 48 hours of refrigeration, cremation fee. This charge does not include the use of facilities and staff for any visitation or ceremony, public or private, prior to cremation. If you want to arrange a direct cremation, you can use an alternative container. Alternative containers encase the body and can be made of materials like fiberboard or composition materials (with or without covering). The alternative containers we provide are fiberboard containers.

Additional charge for refrigeration per day after 48 hours $75.00 or Embalming for Preservation - $440.00
This charge includes removal of remains, basic services of staff, embalming, necessary authorizations, and local transportation to airport. This charge does not include visitation, rites or ceremonies prior to forwarding of the body.
A. With minimum shipping container (Required for airlines) - $ 4250.00
B. When funeral home driving in or out with remains (In addition to cost of casket) - $ 3300.00
C. With casket selected from our funeral home and air tray (In addition to cost of casket) - $ 4250.00
Transfer of remains from airport, hearse, basic services of funeral director and staff. This charge does not include visitation, rites or ceremonies.
The charge for immediate burial includes removal of remains, local transportation to the cemetery, necessary authorizations and basic services of staff, staff services for cemetery. This charge does not include embalming, the use of facilities and staff for any visitation or ceremony, public or private, prior to burial.
